I'm sure some of our fans and supporters have wondered where we have gone!  If you have visited our website in the past 18 months or so, you've probably wondered what was new?  Well, we've tried to answer your questions with a few short articles about what's going' on with the ministry of CenterPoint and the lives of Karey and Kelly.

         
"Go west, young man, go west" was what seemed to ring true as we considered what our next move would be as we sought to follow the Lord in the great adventure of life. Florida didn't have a whole lot of appeal with it's storms and hurricanes, and so with the howling wind literally at our backs, we hightailed it across country and landed in truly sunny Fresno. Tennessee has it's charm, and Florida it's beaches, but California definitely feels like home. It's been 18 months we've lived here now, and we're learning to love this place!

Karey and Kelly are currently performing leading roles in a local production of Meridith Willson's The Music Man here in Fresno. The production will be presented during the summer months at Fresno's Roger Rocka's Dinner Theater. If you're local (or even if you're not), and would like to catch a show, contact the theater for tickets, and make sure you mention your interest in Karey and Kelly to help them earn additional tickets for others. Harold Hill (played by Karey) is the music man who comes to smalltown Iowa to shortchange the locals but is instead swept off his feet by Marian, the local librarian/music teacher (played by Kelly). Even Kailyn has been cast in the children's chorus.  This event is being presented in Fresno most evenings during June and July 2006.

We are currently spending the majority of our time working in a local church ministry in Fresno, California. Through a series of twists and turns, the past few years have brought many changes in our lives and ministry. Although we are still involved doing performance ministry at banquets, churches, and concerts, most of our energies are currently being poured into local church work at New Covenant Community Church in Fresno, CA.  Karey is Director of Creative Arts, and is responsible for many things, from directing musicals to leading worship, to creative design for the web and for print.  God has a way of broadening our horizons and changing our paths, and we believe He is using us in a special way here in Fresno, as He continues His work in us. We are still available for a limited number of dates a year.

It goes without saying, but the family just keeps growing. We are enjoying life with our three children, Kailyn - 10, Kyler - 7, and Kade 3. Life just keeps getting more and more full, and we have a lot to be thankful for.

     

We are still writing, arranging, and singing and performing in a number of different events and in partnership with organizations. Recently, we presented a CenterPoint Christmas at our church here in Fresno - a special Christmas Eve and Christmas Day concert of music that was designed to build up the body and proclaim the great news of Jesus' birth. People came to Christ as a result of this outreach.  We also recently led worship on a Pacific Cruise with an organization called Marriage Mentoring, headquartered right here in Fresno.
