We are well aware that whenever a church or organization brings in an artist or musical group, there is an element of risk involved. It is important to get a group that has a heart for ministry, and is sensitive to the needs of the people. Most importantly, a group needs to be ready, willing, and anxious for God to use them to build up His people and share the truth in a powerful way.
In an effort to help you feel more comfortable and be more educated about our ministry before we actually meet, we have put together a packet of information that includes a complimentary CD -- our latest release. FINANCIALOur goal in setting the financial arrangements is to provide for the operating expenses of CenterPoint Ministries, and provide a base for growth in various aspects of the ministry. While we do come on a love-offering basis, we communicate a specific budget goal for each event. This goal represents a very real need for that event in order to meet the ongoing expenses, such as staff salaries, vehicle fuel, repair, and maintenance, major office expenses, and promotional materials. while this is not a fee, we ask that churches let us know whether the budget goal seems to be within reach or not. Each event and situation may be different, and our goal is that we are not a burden on any church or organization. We do not want to let finances stand in the way of ministry. CONFERENCES and REVIVALSWe are often asked to lead worship and perform special music at conferences, revival services, and special meetings. We enjoy these kinds of engagements, as it gives us opportunity to meet and get to know the people to whom we are ministering. Sometimes it becomes necessary to set a figure for events like these, but we try to deal with each church or organization on an individual basis.
STYLE of MUSICVarious ideas about what Godly Christian music consists of abound in the world today. We have prayed and studied much so that we remain faithful to God in this area of Christian liberty. "Inspirational" best describes the style that we have come to use, as it says more than just how the music is put together, but describes what the purpose of it is -- to inspire. Although, we have a well-thought out philosophy of music, we remain flexible, so that we can minister to God's people in a variety of settings.
